OUR HISTORY
1996
Beginning Day's
Chef Terry Port eagerly immersed himself in the dynamic world of food. He eagerly sought opportunities to work in various small restaurants, honing his skills and expanding his culinary repertoire.
2000
Auberge du Pommier
Early in his career, at 22 years old, Chef Terry Port was chosen as one of the top young Chefs in Canada while working at the prestigious “Auberge du Pommier”, in Toronto.
2002
Michelin Star Resorts
Terry travelled across Europe winning award placements at 3 star Michelin resorts in the Burgundy region of France such as La Cote Saint Jacques
2022
The Creation
Elite Chef Events was revamped And founded within the Okanagan, serving thousands of guests throughout the valley

Present Day

Chef Terry and Elite Chef Events catered my wedding and the food and service were amazing! Staff were all so friendly and kind and went above and beyond to accommodate several celiacs in attendance. Multiple guests (and our photographer) commented that it was the best food they’ve ever had! Chef Terry also put together a late night taco bar that was a huge hit with our guests. I’ve recommended them to several brides to be as we were beyond happy with this team!
